Resolved

On September 16, 2026, we identified a defect in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) that caused certain records in the reporting layer to appear outdated, incomplete, or missing.

The EDWH uses a streaming pipeline to keep reporting data synchronized with source systems in near real-time. A bug in a core component of this streaming layer caused certain data changes to not propagate correctly, resulting in records that appeared deleted, outdated, or missing in the reporting layer.

The defect primarily affected class event data, with smaller impact across other data areas.

Some reports and dashboards drawing from the EDWH may have shown incomplete or stale data during the incident window.

What was NOT affected: Source data in Magicline was fully intact at all times. Operational systems, billing, access control, and all non-EDWH functionality were unaffected.

We addressed this incident in three phases:

  1. Immediate refresh of the most affected tables to restore data completeness.
  2. Temporary fix deployed across all affected data pipelines, followed by a full data refresh for each tenant.
  3. Permanent root cause fix is in progress to eliminate the underlying defect and prevent recurrence.

To reduce the likelihood and impact of similar issues in the future, we are enhancing our automated data completeness monitoring to alert for missing records earlier and more complete.
