Service interruption affecting Member platform
Updates
Incident Summary
On April 30, 2026, we deployed a system update intended to improve validation and security protocols within our Member platform. Following the deployment, we identified a logic conflict that caused the system to incorrectly block the creation of new studio connections for a subset of our app infrastructure.
Impact on Users
The incident occurred between 12:30 CEST and 21:03 CEST. During this period, some users attempting to onboard or set up new studio connections encountered errors and were unable to complete the process.
Scope: The issue was strictly limited to new connection attempts. Existing active connections and all other platform services remained fully operational throughout the incident.
Our Response
Once the issue was identified, our engineering team immediately began a technical analysis to resolve the validation error.
Resolution Efforts: We initially attempted to deploy targeted fixes to address the logic conflict. After evaluating the stability of these patches, our team determined that a full rollback of the update was the most effective way to restore service immediately.
Recovery: Full functionality was restored to all affected users by 21:03 CEST.
Future Prevention
We are committed to ensuring the continued reliability of our services. To prevent a recurrence, we are prioritizing the following actions:
- Configuration Streamlining: We have initiated a project to simplify and standardize the internal logic used to validate different account types. By reducing the complexity of these internal configurations, we will minimize the risk of unforeseen conflicts during future updates.
Current Status
The incident is fully resolved, and all onboarding flows are operating as expected. We sincerely apologize for the disruption this caused to our users and partners.
The incident ‘Service interruption affecting Member platform’, which occurred between 2026-04-30 12:30 CEST and 2026-04-30 21:03 CEST, has been resolved.
We experienced an issue related to a recent change in the studio connects, where an erroneous licensing validation under the member platform unintentionally impacted a subset of customers running on a specific branded app infrastructure.
Due to this change, license validation incorrectly blocked the creation of new studio connects for affected customers. Users attempting to create connections experienced errors during onboarding and were unable to complete the setup flow. Existing connections were not affected and continued to operate normally.
Our engineering team will review the issue and implement additional measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
If you continue to experience any problems, please open a ticket with our support team.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We are currently investigating a service interruption affecting the Member platform. Customers using a specific branded app infrastructure are currently unable to establish a connection. As a result, onboarding and related connection functionality may be unavailable for impacted users.
