High error rate in Connect API

On 25 March 2026, we experienced a temporary increase in error rates on the Connect API, which impacted the online contract cancelation functionality.
What happened
A technical issue during the deployment of the Connect API caused a spike in failed requests for a specific endpoint. As a result, users were not able to cancel their contracts online during the time of the incident using our online cancelation page at https://public.magicline.com/#/contractTermination.
Impact
A specific API call that is being performed during the contract cancelation flow returned an error
This caused the contract cancelation flow to not work properly during the time of the incident
The issue was limited to the Connect API; the core application remained available
How we responded
Our engineering team detected the issue, investigated the underlying cause, and applied a fix to stabilize the Connect API. We then closely monitored the system to confirm that error rates returned to normal levels.
Current status
The incident has been resolved and the Connect API is operating as expected. We do not see any ongoing impact.
